Fifi finds a biscuit.

...a fantastically yellow hexagon of sugary-crunch.

She thanked her lucky stars for that morsel of munch as the rest had been nibbled in leopard-fast time.

Raven McCoy.

Lesson of the day:

Beware of knives... especially when in possession of a momentarily delusional individual. It could get dangerous.

Those unassuming doughy 'Franda' heads certainly weren't expecting Massacre on the Fourth. They had only just begun to enjoy their psychedelic uniqueness when that calamity occurred but the unpredictable Raven McCoy was unstoppable in her flash of crazed knife maneuvering.

p.s. The meek table knife may seem relatively benign in terms of sharp silvery slicing weapons but do not be fooled! They do in fact have the ability to inflict pain and cause permanent damage.

Cupcake Suicides

An alarming incident involving a bunch of melancholic cupcakes was witnessed on Sunday the 7th of March.

The baking heat may have caused rise to a possible case of Neurotic Depression (see definition below) in these cupcakes as their icing began to melt and hungry eyes took hold on their sugary goodness, thus resulting in a mass suicide... or was it murder!?

All that remained at the scene of the crime were their crumby petticoats. sigh.

Neurotic Depression is a common disease entity. The depression is usually not as severe as that which occurs in psychotic depression. The predominant manifestation may be sadness and a feeling of helplessness in the face of a difficult situation. These feelings may be related to objective difficulties at home or at work or to a health problem, but the patient is typically aware that his depressive response is not justified by the facts. Some degree of self-blame may be present, but the most important underlying feature, guilt is either not mentioned or not consciously acknowledged.

Pasta Friends on Safari.

It was a lovely day on the plains of Warjopat, despite the baking heat all was fine and dandy-lion...

Giraffes One, Two and Three were mingling under the basil-gum tree while Mr Elephant sheltered himself beneath the rare African garlic stub... He was also keeping a safe distance from Mrs Elephant who was still angry at him due to the previous evening's Amarula binge...

Rhino and Rhinoceros had remained rather stationary as they were still recovering from recent tuskoplasty. However in their state of motionlessness they had spotted a golden vision approaching the ring of (mostly) happy animals...

Oh no, it's lion!" said Giraffe One.

"RUN." shouted Giraffe Three.

Giraffe Two was so enjoying the refreshing bite of the basil-gum tree foliage that he payed no attention to these silly cries... alas they were in fact not silly as lion! was now within munching distance of him...

"Help me!" Giraffe Two wailed, "I haven't seen the anchovies or sundried tomatoes yet..."

munch munch.

None of the other animals could face looking back, despite Rhino and Rhinoceros who still hadn't moved..

Giraffe Two was now a pasta friend of the past. (tear). Though the others couldn't stop now as lion! was still ravenous and on the prowl for something more substantial than skinny giraffe legs...

"Ah, I tripped!" shouted Giraffe Three.

"Quick, quick, jump up." advised Giraffe One.

"What!? Jump!? You know I've always had problems with that, you witnessed my lack of talent in giraffe-nastics classes. I hated those! Hey, look that cloud looks like a fish..."

"Grrr" growled lion! who was now spitting distance from Giraffe Three who had become engrossed in the cloud formations...

"Hey, that one looks all golden and furry. How pretty. Oh wait, kak, that's not a cl..."

Munch munch.

"Grrr." growled lion! (surprisingly) emphatically.

All the other animals had managed to escape the tyrant lion! However they had lost two dear friends to lion!'s insatiable appetite. Mr Elephant proposed they have a wake to celebrate Giraffe Two and Three's lives. He would provide the Amarula.

The End.
